Every day I am trying one game from the itch.io Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality. Today’s game is Kingdom Ka. I don’t really know how to describe this game. It is more of an experience than a game. A completely unique piece of art that poses some interesting questions. There really isn’t much to the gameplay, you click your mouse to move around and interact with other characters in the world.
The presentation is top notch, the game features an absolutely beautiful and unique visual style and the music is excellent as well. This extends to the narrative as well. I could not stop playing this and finished the entire game in one sitting.
I don’t want to say too much about anything else about this game. If you have any interest in video games as an art form this is an absolute must play and at only about an hour in length you won’t lose much if you don’t like it.
